About MV Raiyawa
Built in 1982 in Fiji, MV Raiyawa was a government vessel deployed to carry passengers inter-island, and place navigational marks around Fiji. In 2014 Raiyawa was decommissioned and extensive work was done on “Raiyawa” to ensure she was safe for diving.
A place to Wreck Dive, a place to Adventure
With
Just off Captain Cook Cruises’ Tivua Private Island, MV Raiyawa lies in just 28m of water with 20m to the top of the wreck. At 30 metre long there’s plenty to explore. Once a working vessel used to repair navigational aids, the MV Raiyawa is now an accessible artificial reef and adventure play-ground for divers.
